Christine's Corner: Black History Month-Books that Our Children Can Learn From
I am of the mindset that black history does not need to be focused on in just one month, but throughout the entire year. As we seek to teach our children and ourselves about systemic racism and what role we play in it and how we can rise up against it, there are resources that can help us do that. And what better way than to read with our children books about racism, as well as books about black culture and by black authors.
Below you will find links to certain books and resources that will allow you the opportunity to start the conversations with your children and your family around black history, a conversation that is never ending.
