Greg's Weekly Word: "love"
It's one of the most overused and misused words in our language. We use it to describe our favorite songs and shows, and our closest friends and romantic partners. But the love which comes to us in the birth of Jesus is more than simply words.
We speak of Christ as "love incarnate," meaning love that is embodied and enacted - love lived out through our very lives. At Christmas, God's love was shown not with words, but with the Word made flesh - by God coming to live among us and walk with us, through life and even through death.
And we would LOVE for you to join us for our Christmas Eve service, either in-person (with masks, social distancing, and other safety protocols) or live on the church's Facebook page, as we celebrate God's love, embodied in the birth of Jesus.
