Greg's Weekly Word: "welcome"

Help us welcome Amanda Braswell, our new office manager!

We are incredibly excited to welcome Amanda to the staff of Augusta Heights!

Amanda is originally from Texas (Hook 'Em Horns!) but has lived in the Upstate for many years. She has been married to her husband, Jeff Braswell, for 18 years. They have four children, two dogs, and a grumpy cat. Amanda enjoys reading, hiking, and scuba diving. (Yes, you read that correctly...scuba diving!)

She has a diverse background, having worked as a paramedic and a paralegal. When asked why she wanted the job, she told us she wanted to work somewhere where she trusted the vision and believed in the mission.

The word or greeting, "Welcome," is a form of address to one whose presence suits another's will or wish, or whose presence is desired and/or appreciated. We certainly appreciate Amanda's presence with us, and I hope you will welcome her warmly to the Augusta Heights community!
