Vote to sell a portion of church property

DON'T FORGET TO SEND IN YOUR BALLOT!

After months of preparation and weeks of questions, feedback, and discussion, it is finally time to vote as a church.

As you know, in early August the Property Committee and Deacons presented a recommendation to sell a section of the property (including the sanctuary and gymnasium), and to retain and renovate the chapel and education wing. 

CORRECTION: We previously reported the capacity of the renovated chapel (as laid out in the sample drawings from AWHS Architects) to be approximately 150. We had misread the drawings. The actual capacity of the chapel after renovation (per those same drawings) is 262.

Since the recommendation was presented, we have hosted two virtual town hall meetings on Zoom, two drive-thru discussions, and an outdoor town hall meeting. Now, it is time for us to make a decision as a church how we proceed.
